MCAC Membership for Connecticut Mechanical Contractors
MCAC is a professional trade association representing union contractors who specialize in mechanical construction across Connecticut. Our members are signatories to the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 777 bargaining agreement, and we work alongside them to support their businesses, protect their interests, and raise the standard of the mechanical contracting industry in Connecticut.
Contractor members work under the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 777 bargaining agreement — the foundation of fair mechanical contracting across Connecticut.

What Membership Includes
Legislative advocacy
MCAC monitors Connecticut labor law, prevailing wage requirements, and CONN-OSHA updates. When something changes, members hear about it before it becomes a problem on a job.
Collective bargaining support
We help members navigate the Local 777 bargaining relationship, implement agreements, and resolve labor disputes when they come up.
Training and certification
Access to OSHA 10 and 30, CPR, welding certification, project management, and field leadership programs through MCAC's in-house certified trainer and our MCAA affiliation.
Industry networking
Regular meetings, dinners, classes, and events where members connect with other contractors, vendors, and the broader Connecticut construction community.
Member resources
Compliance tools, downloadable forms, industry news, and member-only materials through the MCAC Resources section.
- Who We Serve
Types of Membership
Contractor Members
Contractor membership is for mechanical contractors who are signatory to the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 777 agreement. Members work across plumbing, pipefitting, HVAC, mechanical systems, and related trades throughout Connecticut.
Affiliate Members
Affiliate membership is open to suppliers, vendors, manufacturers, and service providers who do business with or support the Connecticut mechanical contracting industry. Members participate in MCAC events and connect directly with contractor members across the state.
